ABC has put in an order for three more Women's Murder Club scripts.
The freshman legal drama, which stars Angie Harmon as a police inspector in the San Francisco police department, has performed reasonably well in its 9pm Friday slot. On its most recent outing it pulled close to 9m viewers and achieved a 6% share in adults 18-49.
The script order is a sign that the network is tentatively prepared to back the show; stronger-performing new programmes including Private Practice and most recently Samantha Who? have received full season orders.
