Ashley Jensen supports writers' strike

Ashley Jensen has pledged to support the Hollywood writers' strike by joining the picket lines when she returns to LA.
The Ugly Betty star said she believes the WGA is "doing the right thing" and US screenwriters have a right to demand better pay.
She told WENN: "It's a major concern out there, especially on the big chat shows like Letterman and Larry King. But it's a good thing, to be honest. They deserve more money. I'm fully supportive of the strikes, and when I'm not working I'll be picketing too."
However, she added that the strike will cause problems for Ugly Betty, saying: "It will have a huge knock-on effect because we've got enough for another two episodes and that takes us up to about December 6. Unless it's resolved we don't have anything, so it's a bit of a worry."
Jensen, who plays wardrobe assistant Christina in the hit series, won 'Top Woman On TV' at Tuesday's Cosmopolitan Ultimate Woman of the Year Awards.
