Shep Smith re-signs with Fox News

The presenter, who has been with the station since its launch in 1996, will earn between $7 million and $8 million a year under the three-year deal, according to Variety.
Smith's nightly programme The Fox Report with Shepard Smith is number one in its timeslot, averaging around 1.4 million viewers.
