US version of BBC Three's 'Women' ordered

Lifetime has ordered an American version of BBC Three's The Week the Women Went.
According to Variety, BBC Worldwide America will commence production on the US version "immediately", with John Hesling at the helm.
The UK version looked at what happened in the Nottinghamshire village of Harby when the women were taken away for one week.
Lifetime plans to air the US version as part of a Friday night all-reality programming block.
