Full seasons for 'Chuck', 'Life'
Published Tuesday, Nov 27 2007, 10:07 GMT | By James Welsh
NBC has placed full season orders for Chuck and Life.
Both shows perform well in the key 18-49 and 18-34 demographics, and NBC entertainment co-chairman Ben Silverman said that they "are hitting their stride creatively, have developed loyal audiences and offer unlimited potential to grow throughout the season".
The back-nine order for Chuck came as welcome news for executive producer Josh Schwartz, whose Gossip Girl was also picked up for a full season by The CW in October.
The orders come despite the ongoing WGA strike. Talks aimed at bringing the stoppage to a close restarted yesterday; a press blackout remains in effect but early reports indicate that intensive brokering by Hollywood agents may have moved negotiations forward.
