NBC expected to pull plug on 'Bionic Woman'

The show, which stars ex-EastEnders actress Michelle Ryan in the lead role, debuted to 13.9m viewers and a solid 14% share back in September. Since then, however, the number of viewers tuning in to the show has declined each week; on November 28, when the last episode produced before the WGA strike shut down work on the series aired, it dropped below 6m.
A final decision has yet to be announced but the series is expected to join Journeyman on NBC's 2007 scrapheap. According to The Hollywood Reporter, NBC has not exercised an option to continue that series and the network has already handed out full season orders for Life and Chuck.
