Daryl 'Chill' Mitchell is to join the cast of NBC's hit show Ed when its third season premieres in the fall, the network has confirmed.
Mitchell will play Eli, the new Supervising Manager of bowling alley Stuckeybowl. Previous credits include parts in Veronica's Closet, The John Larroquette Show. The part in Ed comes as a new challenge for Mitchell, as his first occasion of on-camera acting since being paralysed from the mid-chest down in a motorcycle accident last November.
