The network has scheduled six hour-long specials to run on Fridays starting February 22. Drew Carey, who hosts the daytime version of the show, will continue to host in primetime.
The show will take up Ghost Whisperer's 8pm slot, with the fantasy thriller usurping Moonlight's 9pm home. The latter show "will return to the schedule later this season", CBS said.
Created in 1956, the game show is the longest-running quiz series in American TV history. Its current format first debuted on CBS in 1972, and it was most recently seen in primetime last May.
