Paris Hilton to star in lesbian show

Paris Hilton has confirmed rumours that she is to make a guest appearance in US lesbian drama The L Word.

The socialite said she is in talks to star in the Showtime series, which follows the lives of a group of lesbian and bisexual women in West Hollywood.

She told Parade: "It's true. I have no idea what kind of character I'll be playing, but it's a good show."

Hilton was spotted leaving a lesbian nightclub holding hands with a woman last month.
