David Kohan and Max Mutchnick, creators of Will & Grace, are producing a pilot of a new comedy for ABC.
The untitled show is about two friends and business partners. One is straight and one gay and their friendship is strained when both find partners.
Close colleagues Kohan and Mutchnick and straight and gay respectively so reports say the show could be inspired by experience.
It is a half-hour multi-camera project written before the writers' strike and produced by Warner Brothers Television.
