Rufus Sewell to lead US 'Eleventh Hour'

The Brit will star in the sci-fi drama as Jacob Hood, a government expert adviser who tries to stop abuses of science.
CBS is producing a series based on the 2006 original British mini-series. It will be set in the US and Bruckheimer (CSI, Pirates of the Caribbean) is working with executive producer Danny Cannon, who also worked on CSI.
The lead role in the original was played by Patrick Stewart.
