Toby Stephens cast in 'Inseparable'

Toby Stephens has been cast as the lead in Fox's pilot Inseparable.

The drama is a modern-day reworking of the Jekyll and Hyde story. The show's creator, Shaun Cassidy, was behind Invasion.

The Inseparable pilot has yet to be picked up by the network as bosses are waiting for Cassidy to deliver a new draft of the script. However, Fox did allow the project to begin casting in January to give it a head start when the WGA strike concluded.

An agent revealed that this process will help US television networks avoid the rush when "everyone will be trying to tap the same talent pool".

Stephens has previously appeared as a Bond villain in Die Another Day and in the recent TV adaptation of Jane Eyre.
