In Rock the Cradle the unknown children of already-successful musicians will compete to become stars in their own right. Offspring of Olivia Newton-John, Kenny Loggins and MC Hammer will be among those featuring in the show, which is slated to air from April.
Celebrity Music Mentor Project will see eight mentors, as-yet-unconfirmed stars, pick and develop amateur performers or groups. There will be eliminations to choose a winner over an eight-week run, planned to air from the autumn.
Meanwhile, Randy Jackson Presents: America's Best Dance Crew has been renewed for another series in the summer. Viewers vote for competing dance groups on the internet then the top ones go on to appear on the show.
