Whedon keen on 'Buffy' TV return

Sci Fi Wire reports that the Buffy creator spoke of his enthusiasm for these projects at the William S. Paley Television Festival, where he explained: "There are so many stars that would have to align [for Buffy to return]. But, you know, there's a reason I worked with all of these people for so long. They're enormously talented. And clearly, from the comic, it's a story that I can't let go of. I think it would be really cool."
In addition to the recently published comic, which follows on from the seventh season of the television show, Whedon suggested that a musical outing might be a future possibility: "I would love to take Buffy to Broadway... you would have to start from scratch. I've spent some time daydreaming about it, because I'm me."
