US 'Suburban Shootout' to enter production

The network bought format rights to the show in September and this week confirmed it was going into production.
The US recreation is written by Michelle Ashford (Boomtown) and directed by Barry Sonnenfeld (Pushing Daisies).
HBO will stick with the dark comedy of the original, which was made for Five and Paramount Comedy and followed a woman caught in suburban warfare between rival groups of housewives.
