'Torchwood' star discusses shock exit

In Friday's second season finale, computer whizz Tosh was shot and killed by the wayward brother of Captain Jack (John Barrowman).
"When I was told [about Tosh's exit], I was obviously shocked and sad, but to be honest, it made sense to me," Mori told DS. "The show needed a big season finale. It also made sense because Tosh has been through so much. She's come a full circle and had her journey."
Of the final scene, involving a pre-recorded 'goodbye' message from Tosh, Mori added: "I think when I read that I was bawling my eyes out. To me, that was the icing on the cake. In retrospect, I couldn't have asked for more. It was a really lovely moment."
