Arrested Development creator Mitch Hurwitz has hired three of its stars for his new animated comedy project.
Jason Bateman, Will Arnett and Henry Winkler will voice roles in a pilot of Sit Down, Shut Up for Fox. The show is based on an Australian live-action comedy series of the same name and follows a group of incompetent teachers.
In other pilot castings, AnnaLynne McCord (Nip/Tuck) has joined the Beverly Hills, 90210 spinoff in production for the CW. The actress will play popular schoolgirl Naomi.
Brooklyn Sudano (My Wife And Kids) has been hired for the two-hour Sci Fi Channel pilot Revolution. The show is set on an outpost colony of Earth, where Sudano's character Roxanne is a love interest to the main character.
Finally, CBS medical drama pilot Can Openers has signed Ben Feldman (Cloverfield) to play first-year neurosurgeon Dr Michael Ward.
