'Family Guy' writers suing Fox
Published Tuesday, Apr 22 2008, 13:13 BST | By Dave West

The group, which also includes voice actress Alex Borstein, is claiming breach of contract and deceit against the broadcaster.
Few details have been released but the dispute centres around 12 minutes of extra material written for 2005 DVD Family Guy Presents Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story.
The group issued proceedings on April 10 stating that Fox violated their Writers' Guild of America contracts, according to The Hollywood Reporter. They were not paid for the work, they say, and not given proper on-screen writing credit.
