US series Greek and Kyle XY have been renewed, cable channel ABC Family has announced as part of its programming plans for the year.

A 12-part season of Greek will air in the autumn while ten new Kyle instalments are planned for January.

Long-running police drama Lincoln Heights has also been renewed, with ten episodes to air in the autumn.

ABC Family's plans also include two new dramas. The Middleman follows a twenty-something woman hired to fight crime; The Secret Life of the American Teenager is about a youth and her unexpected pregnancy.

Channel president Paul Lee said: "We put a lot of effort into summer, and it's the perfect time to launch our biggest shows."
