The seven celebrities taking part in a special, six-part midseason series of "The Mole" have been announced.
The cast includes actors Stephen Baldwin ("Usual Suspects") and Corbin Bernsen ("L.A. Law"); comediennes Kathy Griffin ("Suddenly
Susan") and Kim Coles ("Living Single"); television stars Michael Boatman ("Spin City") and Erik von Detten ("Dinotopia"); and supermodel Frederique.
"The cast is better than we could ever have expected; they played the game as if they had been playing all their lives," said Scott A. Stone, executive producer of the series along with David G. Stanley.
Sportcaster Ahmad Rashad will host the series; original "Mole" host Anderson Cooper is now more heavily involved with news network CNN.
"The actors' ability to 'perform' guilt or innocence adds a new layer of mystery to the challenges," added Andrea Wong, senior vice president of Alternative Series and Specials for ABC. "We're thrilled to have this great group of stars join The Mole."
