'Moonlight' bites the dust, 'Unit' renewed

On the eve of its upfront presentation, the network announced the fate of the little-watched but much-lauded series. Fans had campaigned hard for a renewal, literally giving their own blood in an effort to convince CBS that the show was worth saving.
Meanwhile, military drama The Unit has been renewed, as have the comedies How I Met Your Mother, Rules of Engagement and The New Adventures of Old Christine.
