'Real World' returns to New York
Published Wednesday, May 14 2008, 10:12 BST | By Neil Wilkes

The MTV series has been set in the Big Apple twice before: for its inaugural season, in 1992, then again for its ten-year anniversary.
The new season - the show's 21st - will retain the new hour-long format trialled during the current run, set in Hollywood. The episode order has been cut from 13 to 12, however, and transmission is planned for early 2009.
Real World co-creator Jon Murray said: "The Brooklyn season, like the Hollywood season, will focus on what people loved about The Real World when it launched in 1992: genuine people, meaningful conflict and powerful stories. We're thrilled that MTV is allowing The Real World to turn 21!"
