The network will begin rollout of its new schedule on September 1, giving it a significant jump on most of the competition.
Returning series include the much talked-about teen drama Gossip Girl, cult dramas Supernatural and Smallville, reality contest America's Next Top Model, comedies Everybody Hates Chris and The Game, plus veteran teen drama One Tree Hill. Comedy drama Reaper has also earned a reprieve, returning midseason for a run of 13 episodes.
New shows include the highly-anticipated Beverly Hills, 90210 spinoff, to be titled simply 90210, and drama Surviving The Filthy Rich, about a journalist-turned-private tutor for a wealthy family. New reality series Stylista - to be introduced as a companion for Top Model - will see aspiring fashion enthusiasts competing for a job with Elle, the magazine operated by DS parent company Hachette Filipacchi.
Not returning are the comedies Aliens In America and Girlfriends, reality series Beauty and the Geek and Pussycat Dolls Present and Africa-set drama Life Is Wild.
