ABC is to make an American version of BBC sitcom Manchild, after a successful premiere on BBC America earlier this year.
The series, billed as a male version of Sex And The City when it first aired on the BBC in the UK in early 2002, is being adapted for American network TV by the original writer Nick Fisher and original producer Linda Seifert. It follows four men at middle-age desperately trying to relive their wilder younger days.
The British version starred Anthony Stewart-Head, Nigel Havers, Ray Burdis and Don Warrington.
