Nicholas Brendon laps up 'Buffy' comics
Published Saturday, May 24 2008, 07:06 BST | By Ben Rawson-Jones
Former Buffy actor Nicholas Brendon has revealed his joy at the depiction of his character in the recent comic book continuation of the show.
Brendon, who played Xander in seven seasons of the vampire-slaying programme, told SFX magazine: "I saw it last month. He's looking good, rocking the eye patch in charge of 500 chicks.
"That is the one thing that Xander would be completely blown away about - being in charge of 500 slayers. Xander wasn't in charge of himself in the show!"
The eight season comic is produced and partially written by Buffy creator Joss Whedon and is designed to be canonical.
