The former Sopranos actress has struggled to find work since playing Matt Le Blanc's sister in the Friends spinoff, which was cancelled in 2006 after two series.
A source told Page Six: "[Drea] was saying Joey completely ruined her career. She called it horrible and said she hasn't been able to really work since then.
"She said she's really been out of the business and is trying to get back in."
The 36-year-old won an Emmy for her role as Adriana La Cerva on The Sopranos in 2004.
