The former Garbage frontwoman has landed her first major acting role in the TV spinoff, in which she will play technology company CEO Catherine Weaver.
She will have a regular role in the Fox show's second season, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The series follows Connor (Lena Headey) and her son John (Thomas Dekker) as they take on enemy robots.
