'Trigger Happy TV' returns
Published Tuesday, Dec 10 2002, 04:05 GMT | By James Welsh
Six new episodes of Dom Joly's Trigger Happy TV are in the pipeline for US cable channel Comedy Central, which has been airing the original British-made episodes over the past few months.
The new shows will be produced in America. Jim Sharp, Comedy Central's Development VP, told the Hollywood Reporter: "Because it was not a typical hidden-camera show... [and] because it has such a great and unique tone and sensibility, it just made sense to do more episodes."
Dom Joly will, it is reported, not be available for all six of the new episodes - Jessica Makinson and Travis Draft have been signed to co-host.
