'Mosque' comedy due for US development

The broadcaster's production arm is looking to create a US adaptation of the show, though no writers have yet been hired.
Little Mosque, set in a mosque in a small rural town, has been a hit for Canadian public broadcaster CBC and attracted attention in the US.
Fox is said to have fought off competition from others to take the US rights.
Mary Darling, executive producer of the original series, said: "Comedy is a great way to bridge cultures and bring peoples' guards down.
"Fox got the creative vision of the show - that it has to be funny while it treads sensitively on certain Muslim issues."
