'Heroes' character departs series

The 44-year-old actor, who played Nathan Petrelli on the sci-fi show, was part of the central cast since the programme's first season.
Pasdar did not appear in the last two episodes and it is unknown if he has filmed any scenes for inclusion in forthcoming instalments, reports Deadline Hollywood.
Show producer Adam Armus recently confirmed that a major character will be killed off later this season.
Heroes is currently in its fourth year.
