Earlier this year, reports surfaced suggesting that Pasdar had been dropped from the NBC series. His character, Nathan, was later killed off in the Fall finale.
In an exclusive interview with Digital Spy, Heroes newcomer Olivieri, who plays carnival goer Lydia, suggested that the actor should not have been axed.
"They always say that no one dies on Heroes, but Adrian may be done for good," she admitted. "I know for a fact that he was surprised with the release because it wasn't really told to him as one would like.
"I think they're trying to change the show a bit - everyone gets hurt or semi-dies - and they wanted to shock fans as we get near the end of the season and this was one of them.
"He was such a fantastic guy to work with and he was so much fun, but maybe it's his time to be on another show."
She also praised Pasdar's work on the show, hailing him as "one of the best" on the series.
"For me, personally, I thought [Adrian] was one of the best actors on the show. From the first season I watched it, I wasn't as intrigued with his character as I was with his acting.
"Whether he's on this show or another show, he's just a fun actor to watch and I really enjoy him. I don't know if that's who I would have chosen to kill, but they gotta make their choices."
