'Heroes' creator to receive honour

Kring will be awarded the honour for launching Heroes multiplatform experience Heroes Evolution, which combines games, graphic novels and mobile formats, says The Hollywood Reporter.
"Tim Kring is a masterful storyteller and the Heroes Evolutions digital experience is the ultimate showcase for successfully integrating technology and content," said International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences president and CEO Bruce Paisner.
Kring is to be given the honour at a ceremony on April 12 at the MIPTV Media Market event in Cannes, France.
Heroes wraps its fourth season on February 8.
