Go on, admit it – you’ve been lured by the dark side of the internet on more than one occasion. Hardly a crime, unlike the use of the acronym ‘LOL’, as there are plenty of cyber-dwellers out there who like checking out live webcam action on the net. Well, that is until a certain nubile blonde with a strange ability (or hindrance) hit our television screens recently…

Heroes presented us with gorgeous Niki Sanders parading her flesh in front of her webcam to paying customers. She wasn’t doing it for vanity, for she had a young mouth to feed on her own thanks to her convict husband. How sweet.

But her baying global audience (including Tokyo-based Ando) had no idea they were getting a 2 for 1 deal. Sounds good, but the reality was far more sinister. For Niki’s body is sometimes inhabited by her identical and homicidal sister Jessica, who just happens to be dead. In other words, not your ideal aphrodisiac.

At one point in the opening episode of Heroes, some thugs pay Niki a visit to recoup some money on behalf of the shady Mr Linderman. Bad move dudes. With the camera still rolling, they force her to act out some moves of their own, only for Niki to become Jessica and brutally slaughter them.

So next time you’re surfing around online and innocently stumble across anything involving bare flesh and webcams - go for a cold shower instead. You never know what’s lurking behind the smile…
