'Veronica Mars'
Following the cancellation of her own show Veronica Mars in the summer, Bell was approached to play the part of Elle by Heroes executive producer Tim Kring after he heard about her desire.
"I was a huge fan of the show," Bell told Sci-Fi Wire. "I watched it from its premiere episode, and I joked with the writers that Heroes was always the water-cooler conversation at Veronica Mars on set."
"I certainly put feelers out there," she revealed. "During Comic-Con [I] let them know what a fan I was of the show, I think with the secret hope that one day I could be a part of it. And then it was the ultimate flattery... when they sort of came forward and said, 'We might have something for you to do.'"
