S02E09: 'Cautionary Tales'

Claire tells her father that she hates him after he demands the family move away from the area. She tries to apologise to West but he still thinks she was working for her father. West confronts Noah Bennet and is told that Claire didn't trick him.

Unknown to the cheerleader, Mohinder, Bob and his daughter Elle are in the area to kidnap her and use her blood. Noah calls Mohinder asking for his help and they agree to meet up. However, it is a trap and Elle lies in wait. When Mohinder pulls a gun on Noah, West distracts him by flying into Elle. Noah disarms his former friend and takes Elle hostage.

Hiro travels back in time in a bid to save his father's life, but he is unable to convince him to effectively play God. Hiro later returns to the moment his father plunges to his death from the rooftop and is shocked to learn that it was Takezo Kensei - otherwise known as Adam Monroe - who killed him.

Matt discovers that he can use the telepathic power of suggestion to great effect, convincing Molly to finish her cereal. He uses the technique to probe Angela Petrelli and finds out about Adam Monroe.

Bob kidnaps Claire from her school and ties up her mother at home. This angers Noah when he discovers this, and he puts electric Elle's feet in a bucket of water which causes her to shock herself. A hostage exchange is soon arranged on the sea shore, but Bob takes some of Claire's blood beforehand.

The swap goes ahead, but Elle electrocutes West and Claire when they fly away, prompting Noah to shoot her in the arm. Mohinder immediately shoots Bennet in the eye, as depicted in Isaac's painting.

In a morgue, Bennet returns to life and his wound heals after he is given some of Claire's blood.
