S01E18: 'Parasite'
Following Simone’s death after Isaac shot her by mistake, Peter visits his brother Nathan, who says he will contact the police anonymously. Peter then heads off to find Mohinder.

Mr Bennet, fresh from his recent memory being wiped, is back with Thompson at Primatech. With the captive mind reader Matt in agreement, it’s established that Bennet is not faking any amnesia. Thompson informs him that Claire – his ‘assignment’ – is now no longer his business.

Primatech employee Candice is revealed to have the power to physically appear the same as other people. She adopts the guise of the dead Simone and arrives at Isaac’s apartment to fool the police into believing she is alive.

Claire and The Haitian are at the airport planning an escape from the country, but the cheerleader ditches her escort and heads off to find Peter Petrelli. She later arrives at his New York flat to find his mother Angela there, who is well aware of who she is: her grandmother. The Haitian is also there, and it’s been revealed they have been working together.

It transpires that Mr Bennet instructed his wife to pretend that her memory had been recently wiped, when she’s around any Primatech employees. However, Bennet reveals his plans to destroy Primatech not to his wife, but to Candice disguised as her. Thompson and his cohorts arrive on the scene quickly to capture him.

Nathan is planning to blow the lid on Mr Linderman’s activities with the FBI, but Jessica disposes of the agents. Niki warns Nathan about the situation, and he confronts Mr Linderman whilst he attempts to cook a pie. Nathan is unable to carry out his threat of shooting him when Linderman reveals much knowledge about his powers and family. Linderman suggests that if they work together, Nathan could be running for President in two years with his influence.

Hiro, with Nathan’s assistance, enters Mr Linderman’s casino and takes hold of the sword thanks to the sudden arrival as Ando, posing as a security guard. He accidentally teleports them into the bleak future, depicting a New York in the aftermath of the bomb.

Mohinder drugs Sylar after figuring out his identity. He takes some of his spinal fluid to examine, but Sylar reveals that Mohinder’s father confided in him about the circumstances of his sister’s apparent death, thus intriguing Mohinder enough to spare his life. However, Sylar’s powers soon return and he confronts his captor. Later, Peter turns up to discover a battered Mohinder on the ceiling, with Sylar moving in and cutting across his forehead to reach his brain…
