Mohinder meets Molly Walker, a sick girl kept under observation by Thompson. She has the power to locate individuals simply by thinking of their name. Her ability is clouded by her illness, which also led to the death of Mohinder's sister Shanti. Whilst his father could not find a cure in time, Mohinder decides to give Molly his own blood - containing antibodies - and it works.
Micah is being kept captive by Candice, posing as his mother Niki. When she takes a shower he tries to escape, but is confronted with various illusions and returns to the flat. Candice reveals her true self and implores him to help Linderman. He does so by heading to the computerised polling booths - for it is election day - and gaining Nathan many extra votes to enable a landslide victory.
DL and Jessica probe around Linderman's office and discover that he has been tracking their lives. They also find a painting of Micah, with the young lad surrounded by the flames of a burning city.
Sylar meets his mother and she is on edge and frustrated that he hasn't made more of his life. He tries to explain that he is special, but she disagrees. He then demonstrates his powers, turning water into snow and sending his mother's beloved snowglobes flying around the room. This scares her and one collides with her.
She takes refuge in her room and Sylar begs for forgiveness. This is being watched by Hiro and Ando outside. Sylar's mother then emerges and grabs some scissors to stab her son with. They struggle, with the mother inadvertently being stabbed in the process. Hiro freezes time to decapitate his nemesis, but Sylar breaks the hold just in time and freezes his sword before he can escape. Later, Sylar uses his dead mother's blood to paint an apocalyptic vision of New York, muttering that he will become President and be someone special.
Claire agrees to shoot Peter in the back of the head should he ever be on the verge of blowing up New York. The pair soon meet Mr Bennet, Ted and Matt - with the father and adopted daughter having an emotional reunion. However, Peter absorbs Ted's ability and his hands begin to glow...
