Bob orders Mohinder to give Monica an injection to disable her powers but he refuses, against Bennet's advice. Bob then thanks Mohinder for giving The Company a new perspective and stopping them from going too far. Niki enters the fray and reveals herself to be Mohinder's new partner. Bob gives Monica an iPod containing videos of various skills for her to assimilate.
Bennet is in the Ukraine and uses the Haitian to wipe several memories from his old company colleague Ivan until he reveals the location of Isaac's paintings. Bennet then shoots him to cover up his actions.
Maya uses her powers to kill a border police patrol and make it into America. Alejandro revives Sylar, but the pair later fight. Maya convinces her brother to let him stay as he can be helpful. Sylar then discreetly tells Alejandro that he will suck their brains out when his powers are restored.
Ando continues to unravel Hiro's story via the scrolls. Hiro teleports Yaeko away after they try to rescue her father from Whitebeard, but the pair kiss when she figures out that Hiro is the one with the powers. Kensei witnesses this and switches allegiances to Whitebeard and captures Yaeko and her father.
Peter and Caitlin travel to Montreal to comply with Isaac's prophetic painting. When they arrive, Peter finds a note from Adam Monroe addressed to him. Suddenly they teleport a year into the future and discover that a devastated New York has been evacuated.
