Mr Linderman's various layers are peeled like an onion skin, delivering on the build up to the character throughout the series. He comes across with an ambiguity previously accorded to Mr Bennet. Saving the world is the goal he claims to have, but can only do such a thing by wiping out 0.7% of the population. Were his desire to heal the world genuine - and his knowledge that it will end true - then it throws up a fascinating moral debate. Killing a few to save many more from death? Linderman's true nature will hopefully reveal itself soon.
The Peter-Sylar fight provides visceral thrills, being very well helmed although it's pretty obvious that Claire will bring the politician's brother back to life. But the visual highlight has to be the wonderful mise-en-scene used to depict the gruesome death of Isaac - with his own portentous paintings used to suggest the horrific act taking place.
As Isaac offers a cryptic parting shot to Sylar and Hiro finds himself propelled into the future, the next episode cannot come soon enough.
