S02E02: 'Lizards'

It's nice to see Hiro having fun under the guise of Kensei, using his time-stopping powers to outmanoeuvre his enemies. Yet the central love plot with the village girl and the
cowardly Kensei is unconvincing and poorly set up.
The introduction of two new 'heroes' - Alejandro and Maya - also fails to engage and serves as a distraction from the intrigue surrounding the death of Kaito and the related attack on Angela Petrelli.
On the plus side, Peter's deployment of his powers provides much-needed visceral thrills, while the reintroduction of The Haitian adds an extra sense of mystery to the story.
Nonetheless, if Heroes doesn't raise its game very soon then viewers will start to feel as cut off as Claire Bennet's little toe.
