The 'Rock With Your Lost On!' contest is being held in conjunction with the annual Comic-Con convention in San Diego, California later this month, TV Guide reports.
The winning track will make its debut at the exhibition and will be about what the show means to its viewers, according to a post on ABC's website.
"We'd like to see your ideal version of what you think a Lost title song would be," the message read. "Over the years, we've been witness to your incredibly innovative pieces on Lost, and would love to hear your fetchy melodies for Lost."
It was announced earlier this week that series writer Brian K. Vaughan had quit the series.
