Writing on his Twitter account, the show's executive producer also announced that new footage from the upcoming season will air in a promo during Sunday's Desperate Housewives.
"Heading to Hawaii on Friday," he said. "We're screening the first hour of the premiere on the beach in Waikiki on Saturday night at sunset. For those who asked, the Waikiki beach screening is free and open to all."
He later added: "For those who want to see it, the first promo on ABC with new season 6 footage will air on Sunday in Desperate Housewives."
Lost returns for its sixth and final season Tuesday, February 2 on ABC in the US and Friday, February 5 on Sky1 in the UK.
