Lost's Locke wins Emmy Award

Terry O'Quinn

Lost star Terry O'Quinn has been rewarded with an Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actor In A Drama for his role as the ambiguous John Locke on Lost.

Accepting the award, O'Quinn jokingly poked fun at rival series Desperate Housewives: "Sometimes when we're rolling around in the jungle in the mud, hitting each other and stabbing each other, I wonder what it would be like to bake up a sheet of cookies on Wisteria Lane and get one of their cheques."

However, the former Alias actor earnestly added: "Then I think about my castmates and crewmates, and I realise why I have the best job in the world."
