Executive producer Carlton Cuse told Sci Fi Wire: "Yes, we do know what the last image of the show is... and it won't be a black screen!"
"We always knew the ending," fellow executive producer and co-creator Damon Lindelof added. "We just didn't know how much time to take before we got there. So, yes, it still completely fits with where we're at in the storytelling right now."
Lost is scheduled to finish in 2010, with 48 episodes currently remaining. The fourth season will start in February 2008.
