The actor, who plays Jack Shephard on the ABC drama, admitted that his commitment to the show had forced him to turn down big-screen roles.
He said: "I am getting these cool offers now, and often I can't take them because of my responsibilities to Lost."
Fox, who rose to fame as Charlie Salinger on '90s teen drama Party of Five, said he was grateful that JJ Abrams's cult hit had raised his profile in Hollywood.
But he added: "I won't be doing any more television after Lost. That level of commitment to one character is just something I won't do again."
He recently revealed that he is looking forward to leaving Hawaii when the show wraps in 2010.
