Fox, who plays crash survivor Jack, told News of the World: "We've a running joke on the Lost set that anyone arrested for DUI (driving under the influence) gets killed off on the show. So I slow down now."
These views are supported by the axing of series regulars Michelle Rodriguez and Cynthia Watros after they were caught drink-driving in Hawaii, in two separate incidents, in late 2005. Their characters Ana Lucia and Libby were both shot dead in the same scene by Michael Dawson (Harold Perrineau) in an episode that aired months later in May 2006.
