Light Summary: Jack, Locke and Sawyer pursue a determined Michael after he heads into the jungle toward the dreaded “Others” in search of Walt. Meanwhile, Sun has a surprising reaction to Jin’s desire to join the search party, and Hurley and Charlie commiserate over the age-old conundrum of “what women want.”














































Full Summary: Flashback: Jack and his father discuss the possibilities of a tumour sufferer surviving an operation. Jack is reminded that he performed a miracle on his wife, Sarah, but will this be enough to convince him to go ahead with the surgery?

Down in the hatch, Michael threatens Jack and pushes him into the gun vault. Unbeknownst to the doctor, another islander is already in there with him. What is Michael up to?

After Sawyer and Kate locate the vault victims, the group head out into the jungle in search of Michael. They know why he has gone - but have no idea where.

Flashback: Jack finds himself talking to the daughter of a the tumour sufferer about his marriage. A late night at the hospital results in a hostile conversation with Sarah when he returns home.

On the outskirts of the camp, Jack puts his foot down, telling Kate that she cannot go with them. Meanwhile, back at the beach, Sun delivers some home truths to Jin about their relationship.

Flashback: The daughter of the tumour patient declares that she will allow Jack to perform the operation on her father. Jack's father, however, still isn't keen on the idea.

While traversing the jungle, Locke confronts Sawyer about his past until gun shots can be heard in the distance. Have they finally found Michael?

Flashback: A distraught Jack talks to his father in the locker room. Out in the car park, however, the tearful daughter of the tumour sufferer hugs Jack. Could there be more than a professional relationship between the pair?

As night falls on the island, a voice from the jungle startles the hunting party with words that will ring in their ears for some time to come…

Flashback: Jack returns home and has a confession to make to Sarah. Sarah's counter-revelation stuns Jack into silence…

Back on the beach, Jack has an all-important question to ask of Ana Lucia.
