Light Summary: When Rousseau leads Sayid to a mysterious captive in the jungle, he becomes determined to find out if he is one of the “Others.” Meanwhile, Sawyer discovers Hurley’s potentially devastating breech of the survivors’ trust and blackmails him into helping track an elusive island creature that won’t leave Sawyer alone.













































Full Summary: Flashback: During the first Gulf War, Sayid is captured by the Americans and kept as a prisoner of war. Will Sayid help his opposition to find their pilot? How far is Sayid prepared to go? And will be betray his country?

Ana Lucia rushes to alert Sayid to a stranger wandering around the jungle. Sayid knows who it is. What does this recurring face want this time and what is Sayid being taken to?

Flashback: In the American barracks, Sayid helps with translating his fellow soldier's replies to interrogation.

On the beach, Sawyer struggles to sleep due to the annoying croak of a tree frog. In search of the little critter, Sawyer stumbles across Hurley doing what he does best. Sawyer bargains with Hurley – his help in finding the frog in return for keeping quiet about Hurley's secret stash.

Even further into the jungle, Rousseau leads Sayid to a captured man who goes by the name of Henry Gale. Rousseau is adamant that he is 'one of them' but not wanting believing her, Sayid cuts him down from the tree trap. Will the man escape? Who or what will prevent him from running?

Flashback: The cold hard truth from Sayid's past hits home when he is shown a disturbing video. Sayid is handed a box of tools. What is he to do with them? Will he continue to help the Americans?

Down in the hatch, Sayid wakes Locke up to show him their latest discovery. Will Henry talk? What will they elicit from him? More importantly, is he telling the truth?

Elsewhere, out in the jungle, Sawyer and Hurley are still on the hunt for the annoying tree frog.

Jack tends to Henry's wounds down in the hatch while Sayid tells Locke that there is only one way that they can get the truth out of him…

Flashback: Sayid sets out his array of tools in front of his commanding officer. How is Sayid prepared to go in his extraction mission?

Jack confronts Locke about changing the combination on the vault. Inside, Sayid interrogates Henry.

Hurley and Sawyer succeed in finding the critter guilty for making all the noise. Does Sawyer have a heart to let it live?

Back in the vault, Sayid returns to his old ways, hoping for answers from the stranger. Will his actions result in the answers the group requires? Outside, Jack retrains Locke in an attempt to force the combination out of him. Locke has to make a quick decision: give Jack the combination or face the consequences of the timer hitting zero…

It isn't long before Sayid concedes to the fact that Henry is, indeed, 'one of them'…

Flashback: Sayid is released by the Americans. They have used him all they can. The Americans revel in their glory as they leave Sayid abandoned in the middle of nowhere…

Back on the beach, Sayid and Charlie face the grim reality…
