Light Summary: With the abduction of Walt fresh on their minds and their raft destroyed, Michael, Sawyer and Jin fight for their lives and discover a new predator in the roiling ocean. Meanwhile on land, Locke must descend into the hatch when one castaway goes missing inside.














































Full Summary: Sawyer drags Michael onto the raft in a bid to resuscitate him while, back on the island, Locke sits at the top of the hatch calling down for Kate. Locke has no option but to make his way down there too.

Back on the raft, Sawyer succeeds in bringing Michael back to consciousness.

Flashback: Michael visits his solicitor and receives some news about Walt. Michael sets about trying to prevent his ex-wife, Susan, from taking Walt away from him.

Down in the hatch, Locke makes his way through the labyrinth of corridors and finally stumbles across Kate.

Out on the raft, Sawyer and Michael contemplate the whereabouts of Jin and come to blows in the process. Michael throws Sawyer off the raft and into the shark-infested waters…

Flashback: Michael's court proceedings continue as he struggles to regain the link with his son. Will Michael's lack of knowledge about his son result in his son moving abroad?

Underground, Kate and Locke come face to face with the hatch's current resident. Locke tries to gain information from the stranger and is forced to tie Kate up in the process. On the breach, the other survivors sit around waiting for news.

Flashback: Michael comes face to face with his ex-wife, Susan. Susan asks Michael to let his son go – Susan explains that she doesn't want to go to court… Will Michael give up his paternal rights?

Kate struggles to break free from the rope. When she finally finds a light switch, an entire room stocked with food greets her. She knows she has to get out of the locked room and makes her way into the vents. In the main part of the hatch, Locke talks to the mysterious man – Desmond.

With a continual beep sounding in the background, Desmond directs Locke to a mysterious computer where he is forced to input a code. No sooner has the code been entered, Jack makes his way down into the hatch. Realisation soon hits for Jack – he's seen Desmond somewhere before.

Sawyer is forced into the water when he spots something in the water. Michael starts a shooting frenzy into the water when he spots a shark heading toward Sawyer. Will Michael his the shark or Sawyer?

Flashback: Susan brings young Walt to see his dad before Walt heads off abroad. In an emotional parting, Michael watches his son walk off into the distance.

The following morning on the raft, Sawyer and Michael find dry land. When they finally swim onto the beach, they're confronted by Jin along with a group of mysterious people…
