S04E12: 'There's No Place Like Home: Part 1'
The Oceanic Six are fully revealed on board a rescue plane in flashforwards and comprise Jack, Kate, Sayid, Sun, Hurley and Aaron. Some of them meet their families when the plane lands, although no one is there for Kate or Sayid. At a press conference, they all deploy a cover story in which no one else survived the crash and that Kate gave birth to Aaron.

Later, Sayid meets his beloved Nadia and Sun visits her bullying father to reveal that she has bought a controlling stake in his company and that she thinks he is one of two people to blame for Jin's death. Hurley arrives at a surprise birthday party for him, attended by several of the Oceanic Six. His father shows him a car that he has restored, but Hurley is traumatised to see that the fateful Numbers are present on the odometer.

A funeral takes place for Jack's father Christian. Claire's mother Carole turns up and tells Jack about his half sister. Jack is stunned, but keeps up the pretence that only the Oceanic Six survived the initial crash. Kate looks on, holding Carole's granddaughter Aaron.

In the present, Jack and Sawyer cross paths in the jungle and news spreads that that the soldiers from the Freighter are less than friendly. The pair find Frank handcuffed to his own helicopter.

Sayid returns to the island on the small boat and Daniel uses it to ferry several insignificant crash survivors back to the Freighter, plus Jin, Sun and Aaron. Sayid and Kate are captured in the jungle by Richard Alpert and various Others.

Ben leads Locke and Hurley to a remote part of the island and communicates with a mystery person in the distant bushes by using mirrors and a pair of binoculars. The trio head to the Orchid and find Keamy and his men have arrived there first. Ben gives Locke a set of instructions about how to infiltrate the Orchid and then creates a diversion by turning himself in to Widmore's mercenaries.
